What's new in July 2024?

In our latest update for July 2024, we are excited to introduce several enhancements designed to streamline your payroll and HR processes. These updates include improvements to reporting formats, accessibility features, and user interface adjustments aimed at boosting efficiency and accuracy. Dive into the details of these updates to discover how they can benefit your daily operations and improve overall functionality.

1. Updated PF Arrear Report

We have updated both the Excel and text formats of the PF Arrear Report to comply with the latest guidelines from the PF portal. These revisions enhance data accuracy, ensure regulatory compliance, and streamline the reporting process. By adopting these new formats, you’ll benefit from improved clarity and efficiency in generating and reviewing reports. This update is designed to make your payroll process smoother and more reliable.

2. Payroll Input View Accessibility

Previously, users were unable to view payroll inputs once the payroll was processed. We have now addressed this by enabling users to access and review payroll inputs even after the payroll run has been completed. This improvement enhances transparency and allows for better verification and adjustments, ensuring greater accuracy and ease of use. For more information, click here.

3. Bulk Upload Settlement Month

It reduces manual effort, minimizes errors, and ensures a more accurate and timely processing of settlement changes. For further information, click here.

4. Identification for Pending Alerts & Approvals

We have introduced a red dot indicator on cards for pending requests, approvals, events, and alerts, highlighting new items that require your attention. This visual cue ensures you can quickly identify and address pending tasks. Additionally, we now display the total count of pending approvals and requests, allowing for more efficient management and preventing oversight of outstanding items. These updates aim to enhance your workflow and keep you informed of critical actions.

5. Employee Ability to Submit Data Change Requests via Email

We have introduced a streamlined feature allowing employees to submit data change requests directly through a link provided in an email, eliminating the need for login (only for requests raised by admins). This enhancement simplifies the process, reducing the time and effort required for request submission. By removing login barriers, we aim to increase efficiency and ease of use, ensuring that data change requests are managed more promptly and effectively. 6. Device Registration UI Changes

We have updated the user interface for the device registration page, now featuring a streamlined layout that separates requests into two distinct sections: Pending and Completed. This enhancement provides a clearer overview of request statuses, making it easier for users to track and manage their device registrations. The improved organization aims to boost efficiency and user experience by facilitating quicker access to relevant information.

7. Added Resignation Type & Reason in Salary Register

We have added Resignation Type & Resignation Reason fields to the Salary Register for employees who have resigned. This new feature provides detailed information on the type of resignation, enhancing the clarity and completeness of salary records. By incorporating this data, we aim to improve the accuracy of payroll processing and facilitate better record-keeping for resigned employees.
