How can I change / regularize my Team’s Attendance Records (Individually & Bulk)?

Option 1: Individually


  • Click on the “Attendance” tab towards the left
  • Click on the “Team Attendance Records” sub-tab
  • Choose the employee you want to change or regularize the records for
  • Click on the date you want to make the changes for
  • Select the type of request (check in request, check out request or check in & check out request)
  • Select the appropriate Reason from the drop-down
  • Add in the comments and click submit

Option 2: Bulk Upload

Step 1: Downloading the Attendance Template

  • Click on the “Attendance” tab towards the left
  • Click on the “Team Attendance Records” sub-tab
  • Click on “Upload Attendance Records”, towards the right side top corner
  • Once you see a pop-up window, click on the drop-down
  • Select “Quikchex General Format”
  • Select the year and the month
  • Follow the Excel file formatting instructions. Please note that this is an important step. If the instructions are not followed, the upload will not complete
  • Click on the "Download" button

Note: After clicking on the “Download” button right above the “Upload Roster Records” button you will see a message (Success! Your process has started. You can view the progress in the 'Import Export' tab.To access it, please click here)

  • You need to click on the (click here) link, which will then re-direct you to the “Import Export” page
  • Under the status column if you see “Processing”, please make sure you wait for a few minutes until the status changes to “Completed” (make sure to refresh your browser every 30 seconds to view the updated status)
  • Once the status shows as “Completed”, click on the “Download” button under the “actions” column, after which your file will be downloaded
  • You can also download the team attendance records by clicking “Reports” towards the left, then click on “Import Export”

Step 2: Uploading your Completed Excel Template

  • Click on the “Attendance” tab towards the left
  • Click on the “Team Attendance Records” sub tab
  • Towards the right on the top of your screen, click on “Upload Attendance Records”
  • Choose the “Quikchex General Format”
  • Choose the Month and Year you will be uploading the attendance for; note this will be the Attendance Cycle month and not necessarily the Calendar Month
  • Select the file you have downloaded previously in Step 1 and inputted the completed data for
  • Click on the “Upload Attendance” button

  • You need to click on the (click here) link; it will then re-direct you to the “Import Export” page.
  • Under the status column, if you see “Processing”, please make sure you wait for a few minutes until the status changes to “Completed” (make sure to refresh your browser to see the updated status
  • Once the status shows as “Completed”, click on the “Download” button under the “actions” column, after which your file will be downloaded
  • If the status shows as failed, it means there is an error in the file you are trying to upload. You can download the error report by clicking the “red” download button under the actions column. Make the changes accordingly that are highlighted in the error log file and re-upload.

Step 3: Multi-Select Option

  • In case you want to edit attendance for multiple people and multiple dates, then towards the top right of the attendance records page, you will see the “Multi select” toggle button; Click on the button and toggle it to the “On” position
  • Once the toggle button has been turned on, select the date and employee you would like to assign the roster for. You can select as many cells as you want.
  • Once the cells have been selected, next to the toggle button, click on the “Bulk Actions” drop-down
  • Select the “Regularize Records” button and follow the steps for editing attendance individually as highlighted in the individual assignment section
