How to restrict Supervisors from updating backdated roster records for their team members?
To restrict Supervisors from updating backdated roster records for their team members:
- Go to the Attendance Module from the main menu.
- Open Settings and navigate to General Settings.
- In this section, locate the option “Any restriction on updating backdated roster from Supervisor Login?”
- Set this option to Yes to prevent supervisors from modifying any past (backdated) roster entries for their team.
- A subsequent setting "Within how many days is a supervisor allowed to update the roster from the date of occurrence?" comes up. This setting controls how many days before today a supervisor is allowed to change an employee’s roster; anything older than the set limit cannot be edited.
- Save the settings
