How to Extend an Employee's Probation or Confirm an Employee?
This guide will walk you through the steps to either extend an employee's probation or confirm their employment using the admin portal.
Steps to Extend Probation or Confirm an Employee
- Log in as an Admin
Open the admin portal and log in with your credentials.
- Access the Dashboard
Upon logging in, you will be directed to the dashboard.
- Navigate to the Employee Module
On the dashboard, locate and click on the 'Employee' module.
- Open the Directory Sub-Module
Within the 'Employee' module, find and click on the 'Directory' sub-module.
- Search for the Employee
Use the search function in the directory to locate the employee whose status you want to update.
- Edit Employee Details
Click on the pencil icon next to the employee's name to edit their details.
- Select Employment Details
In the left menu, choose the 'Employment Details' option.
- Update Employment Status
Scroll down to the 'Employment Status' section. Here, you will see two buttons: 'Extend Probation' and 'Confirm Employee'.
Extending Probation
- Click on 'Extend Probation'
Select the 'Extend Probation' button.
- Select the New Probation Date
Choose the new probation end date from the calendar.
- Enter Comments
Provide any relevant comments or reasons for the extension.
- Save Changes
Click 'Save' to apply the changes.
Confirming Employment
- Click on 'Confirm Employee'
Select the 'Confirm Employee' button.
- Select the Confirmation Date
Choose the date on which the confirmation is effective.
- Enter Comments
Provide any relevant comments or details regarding the confirmation.
- Confirm Changes
Click 'Confirm' to finalize the employee's status update.
